Role Summary:
- Full-time remote position fixed for 24 months, supporting epidemic intelligence in Africa.
- Reports to Principal Advisor, Data Use for Decision Science, Epidemic Intelligence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement epidemic intelligence activities and develop data products like outbreak reports and dashboards.
- Mentor in-country teams and transfer skills for sustainable analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with global partners and pioneer surveillance innovations including AI.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in public health, epidemiology, informatics, or statistics.
- At least 10 years in infectious disease surveillance and analytics.
- Proficiency in R and R Markdown; familiarity with DHIS2 is an advantage.
Compensation:
- US-based salary range $120,000-$135,000 annually.
