UX Engineer

The UX Engineer will build performant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for map-based applications. The role involves developing core functionality using React and visualization libraries such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl. Collaboration with designers ensures user needs are reflected in implemented UIs. The position integrates data from backend services using REST or GraphQL and optimizes rendering and frontend performance, particularly for large datasets. The engineer will maintain and expand the component library and design system and write clean, testable, and maintainable code. Participation in UX reviews, usability testing, and cross-functional design sessions is required.
