Supervising Producer, Nights (Remote)

The Athletic is looking for a Supervising Producer to join our growing video team. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for one of the fastest-growing brands in sports, an innate love of storytelling, and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish. This role will be tasked with overseeing The Athletic’s night-time video coverage. This Supervising Producer will manage video editors, work with print editors, and serve as the final set of eyes on video content created and published at night. The ideal candidate will be able to write and edit flawless copy, have an impeccable attention to detail, and must be enthusiastic about watching sports every night. The Coordinating Producer will be tasked with overseeing end-to-end production of The Athletic’s Enhanced Highlights, from topic selection to edit review to programming across TA platforms. The primary area of coverage for this position will be football and basketball (both men’s and women’s).
