Job Description
The Charts & Data Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the country, Christian and gospel charts in Billboard and Billboard Country Update, and on billboard.com. This person would maintain the relevancy and accuracy of Billboard’s current chart menu, conducting daily and weekly data analysis, detailing chart movements and data trends via editorial and social content, and seeking out new means of charting music consumption dictated by market shifts.
This person would be the Billboard charts and data representative to the music industry community for his or her specific genre charts and act as a liaison for those formats with our data sources, which include Luminate and various radio, sales, social and streaming providers. In this role, one would appear on camera for Billboard created long-form and short-form video features regarding the genres that you oversee, providing insight and analysis on chart movements, data trends and format news.
