Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help shape and scale Addition Wealth’s data infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems that power our analytics, personalization, and financial insights. You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering to ensure that high-quality, reliable data drives every decision we make and every experience we deliver.

Responsibilities include design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics, reporting, and personalization features. Develop and optimize data models and warehousing solutions using Postgres, Snowflake, and modern data lake architectures. Build scalable and secure data infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, ECS, and Matillion. Collaborate with engineers to instrument event tracking and data flows from our web applications. Partner with business and analytics stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems. Improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code setups (Terraform, CloudFormation) for data systems. Contribute to data governance, observability, and monitoring strategies to maintain high availability and accuracy. Mentor junior engineers and influence the technical direction of Addition Wealth’s data strategy.
