Cloud Security Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary security point of contact for assigned strategic and critical accounts, serving as a trusted security advisor and engagement lead.
• Build multi-threaded relationships with customer security leadership (CISO org), IT, risk/compliance, and engineering teams to understand their environment and priorities.
• Lead security governance cadences (e.g., monthly/quarterly) including security posture reviews, risk discussions, and roadmap alignment.

Advisory and Execution:

• Conduct discovery to understand customer environments, threat models, regulatory requirements, and business drivers.
• Advise on cloud security controls and best practices such as IAM/SSO/MFA, least privilege, key management/encryption, network segmentation, and secure SDLC.
• Partner with internal security specialists to address complex topics including crypto/KMS/HSM, workload isolation, data residency, and Zero Trust architectures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrates strong understanding of cloud architecture (OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.) and can describe components, data flows, trust boundaries, and the shared responsibility model.
• Able to translate architecture into security posture implications, risks, and recommended controls for enterprise customers.
• Requires a background in security consulting, cloud security architecture, or enterprise risk/GRC for regulated industries, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or ISO 27001 LI/LA are preferred.
