Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the therapeutic area related policy issues & serve as the primary liaison to the USPA Public Policy & Reimbursement, Federal & State Government Affairs teams.
- Support identification of opportunities to related to disease area objectives and generates materials and assets to execute on those engagements.
- Lead key USPA cystic fibrosis projects and is responsible for departmental program/process operations to help successfully advance policy initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ current and relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or non-profit sector and prior experience in patient advocacy, public health policy, government relations or related field(s), preferably with experience in the rare disease environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, often addressing novel/unusual situations and exercising judgement.
- Developed communication skills and the ability to synthesize data and information into meaningful insights.
