Position Overview:
- Reinforce history taking skills.
- Interpret patient self-testing log sheets.
- Adjust insulin doses, especially when transitioning patients to analogue basal bolus insulin regimens.
Key Responsibilities - Case Management:
- Review patient cases and provide timely medical advice (within 24 hours).
- Ensure advice aligns with MSF guidelines and is appropriate for low-resource settings.
- Provide ongoing follow-up on assigned cases.
Key Responsibilities - Video Case Discussion:
- Join regularly scheduled, bi-weekly, one-hour, online meetings.
- Review the clinical case summary in advance of the meeting.
- Provide teaching support and guidance on organization of care.
