Job Description

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM), SanMar Sports, plays a key role in driving growth and building long-term partnerships within the team sports market. This role requires strong communication skills, demonstrated leadership, effective planning and organization, and creative problem-solving.

The SAM collaborates with the Sr. Channel Manager, inside sales, and Territory Managers to identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and support national programs. Success in this role requires a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while ensuring clear communication and coordination across departments.

The role involves selling SanMar’s value proposition, building customer relationships, understanding strategic goals, acting as the customer’s advocate, negotiating programs, and developing impactful sales and marketing plans.
