Machine Learning Scientist Intern

Synthesis Health is looking for Machine Learning Scientist students who are interested in applying their academic knowledge to solve real-world healthcare solutions. As a Machine Learning Scientist intern you will work with a dedicated team. Key responsibilities include designing and developing ML Models, collaborating with team members to define objectives for AI systems, and deploying ML Models. The role involves conducting experiments and evaluations to assess ML and LLM model quality, fine-tuning foundation models, and collaborating with MLOps and engineering teams to deploy and monitor GenAI pipelines. Additionally, the intern will participate in daily team huddles and scheduled department meetings, and actively research advances in foundation models, transformers, and GenAI architectures. The intern will provides input to the documentation process for compliance and regulatory purposes.
