Job Description
The Shared Services teams supports patients and health system partners across a variety of pharmacy-related functions. Functional Areas of Responsibility include patient support by facilitating prior authorizations, assisting patients in accessing financial support, navigating pharmacy dispensing systems, and collaborating with pharmacists.
Patient Onboarding involves enrolling eligible patients, verifying insurance, running test claims, and ensuring patients are properly set up to receive medications.
Patient Outreach includes making outbound calls to eligible patients to introduce them to the specialty pharmacy program, educating patients on the benefits, and reviewing EMRs.
Patient Engagement involves responding to inbound calls, coordinating refills, clarifying prescriptions, and serving as a liaison between patients, pharmacies, clinicians, and internal teams. Expected to work flexible shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, with occasional Saturdays.
