Job Description

Operational Management:

  • Oversees daily operations in the specialty pharmacy call center, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Monitors key performance indicators to maintain excellent service levels and optimize patient health outcomes.
  • Leads workflow optimization and staff professional development through direct supervision of Pharmacy Care Coordinators.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Leads staff selection and development of Pharmacy Care Coordinators, sharing best practices and expertise.
  • Provides direction, expertise, and support for Pharmacy Care Coordinators to deliver exceptional patient experience.
  • Fosters a strong peer network among clinic and call center technicians through collaboration across specialty pharmacy teams.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Assists the Central Specialty Pharmacy Manager with the execution of strategic initiatives related to call center operations.
  • Partners with the Specialty Pharmacy Clinic Manager to implement system clinic and call center specialty pharmacy strategy.
  • Maintains knowledge of specialty pharmacy accreditation standards and delivers education to the technician team.
