This role will expand outreach to target audiences using a wide variety of mechanisms, including social listening, news judgement, community management tactics, external partnerships, and more. The successful candidate is a highly organized, creative, opportunistic, self-starter — and most of all, ready to attract and engage key people around impactful storytelling with Mozilla.
Project Management (50%)
Creation and execution of strategic, goal-based, data-centric communications and marketing plans for campaigns and communities, usually on a rapid response timeline. Craft and implement a unified working process to encompass advocacy, communications, and community building objectives. Lead project management for StratComms Studio outputs.
Strategy Development and Insights (30%)
Collaborate with Communications, Mobilization, and Communities leadership on strategic planning and organizational messaging and development. Develop and implement issue-specific communications strategies aligned with Mozilla’s goals and broader communications strategy.
Copy Writing and Brand Building (20%)
Develop audience-specific communications and marketing strategies that advance Mozilla’s key focus areas: data, education, and community. Ensure integration of our style guide, verbal identity, and core messages across all communications channels and audiences.
