Software Engineer

You will play a key role in building and maintaining our internal, proprietary LOS platform. This position involves close collaboration with product managers, compliance, closing, and post-closing teams to design features and automation that simplify and scale our operations. Maintain and iterate our proprietary Loan Origination System with a focus on enhancing the digital mortgage origination process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and build automation tools and workflows. Design and develop scalable, maintainable software utilizing a variety of technologies and programming languages. Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate internal systems and third-party services. Work closely with product and compliance teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, ensure technical solutions meet regulatory requirements and improve the digital mortgage origination experience. Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, an/or product areas. Deploy and manage services on AWS, ensuring high reliability and performance. Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
