About the Role:
- Assess and manage patients exploring cannabis based medicines, making clinical decisions on treatment appropriateness.
- This is an evolving area of medicine where the evidence base continues to grow, giving the opportunity to help shape how cannabis based medicines are used in pain management in the UK.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide high quality care for UK based patients seeking medical cannabis treatment.
- Conduct patient consultations, including assessment and ongoing management.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and pharmacists.
What You Need:
- Full valid GMC Registration and completion of Specialist Training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent.
- On the GMC Specialist Register for Pain and demonstrated interest in alternative therapies.
- Willingness to participate in data collection and reporting.
