Data Scientist

This role is for an accomplished and well-rounded Data Scientist to help Quanata build innovative personal auto pricing models and process telematics data for signal processing and feature engineering. This role reports to the Data Science Director. The Data Scientist will design, build, and refine personal auto insurance pricing models, leveraging historical data to improve prediction accuracy. They will develop and implement feature engineering pipelines for telematics data, including signal processing techniques to extract actionable insights. The Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, product, and data engineering teams, to integrate models and data into broader business solutions, maintain and optimize cloud-based data science environments, including notebooks and version control systems, and analyze large datasets, both structured and unstructured, to uncover trends and support decision-making.
