Cyber Security Engineer (vulnerability management )

This role will support optimizing Qualys as the vulnerability scanning platform and ensuring full asset coverage across on-prem, cloud, and containerized environments. Responsibilities include validating scan results, reducing false positives, maintaining asset classification, and integrating CrowdStrike EDR signals. Apply CVSS, KEV and business impact analysis to prioritize vulnerabilities. Collaborate with threat intelligence to correlate vulnerabilities with active threats. Drive automation of scanning, ticketing, and reporting workflows. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years in cybersecurity, including vulnerability management leadership, hands-on experience in working in Vulnerability Management Security Engineer role and knowledge of Qualys, SIEM, EDR and threat hunting frameworks.
