Job Description
The Cybersecurity Awareness Training Consultant is responsible for the agency’s information security awareness program. In collaboration with other members of the information security department, this position will manage a broad set of activities, including helping to plan and coordinate awareness campaigns, drafting and editing publications, managing department intranet content and evaluating effectiveness of techniques and resources as appropriate. In addition, the Cybersecurity Awareness Training Consultant will support developing and implementing internal communications strategies and plans that engage, align, and inspire employees with our vision, business strategy and culture, and drive employees’ understanding and engagement on ITS strategic imperatives.
This role also involves supporting the administration of the cybersecurity awareness program and campaigns, developing and maintaining information security awareness training activities, supporting communication efforts, collecting and reporting program metrics, and identifying appropriate training activities for agency audiences. The consultant will partner with various departments and ITS Leadership on communication and change management strategies, and articulate process steps to auditors and stakeholders.
