THE ROLE:
- Coordinate data pipelines across every front of the company, connecting platforms and integrating scientific instruments.
- Build the cohesive data foundation that analytics, AI, and scale-up decisions depend on.
WHAT YOU'LL DESIGN AND BUILD:
- Build connectors across Google Drive, Microsoft GCC High, Slack, and Claude with enforced data boundaries.
- Partner with lab scientists to integrate Invert Bio and analytical instrument outputs into a queryable platform.
- Design ingestion pipelines for messy data: instrument exports, spreadsheets, PDFs, and semi-structured records.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:
- 4–8 years of professional data engineering experience with strong SQL and Python.
- Experience building production data pipelines with modern orchestration tools and integrating third-party platforms via APIs.
- Security- and compliance-aware mindset, treating access control as a requirement.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Annual base salary range of $140,000–$200,000 plus equity, commensurate with experience.
