Sales Tax Accountant

TaxValet is seeking a skilled Sales Tax Accountant to ensure the seamless handling of our clients' sales tax obligations. You will be preparing and submitting sales tax filings, ensuring data accuracy, and monitoring tax collection variances to resolve discrepancies. You will provide assistance in resolving time-critical issues, managing audits, and updating client information with state authorities. You will be a key player in maintaining internal documentation, workflows, and processes while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication. The role requires continuous learning to advance your understanding of sales tax and related technical skills, contributing to both your career growth and the team's value. Success will be measured by timely project completion, minimal tax variance, and adherence to filing deadlines. You will work core working hours from 8:30 PM - 1:30 AM PHT (remaining hours can be completed before or after that).
