Shielding Analysis Engineer

Position Description:

• You will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing radiation shielding and radiation transport analyses to support reactor design.
• You will work with the design team to solicit requirements and establish the scope of shielding evaluations.
• You will support verification, validation, and licensing interactions by providing technically sound analyses.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in nuclear engineering or related field with experience in radiation transport.
• Fluency with Python and proficiency with Monte Carlo codes such as MCNP, SCALE, OpenMC, and Serpent.
• Experience with fast reactor design, shielding design, or radiation protection analysis is highly recommended.
