Job Description
As a Project Engineer, Rivers and Dykes, you will join our engineering team to provide remote technical support for small-scale and less complex tenders, projects, and designs, as well as parts of medium to complex ones. Your role ensures that projects meet agreed requirements such as safety, quality, time, budget, legal regulations, and more. You will have the opportunity for personal and professional growth by working on unique and complex projects in the Netherlands, including the design, construction, and maintenance of dykes and water barriers.
Your Responsibilities as a Project Engineer, Rivers and Dykes are drafting Specifications and Procedures and designing and developing Technical Solutions, offering alternative solutions and minimizing risks. You will assure feasibility and safety and you will be responsible for progress reporting to internal and external customers.
To be successful, you need a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 5-10 years of relevant work experience at an infrastructure contractor. Good knowledge of CAD, QGIS, and Excel software is required. Relevant experience with project management and good command of English are a must, while proficiency in Dutch is an asset.
