VP of CMC

About the Role:

• We're looking for an exceptional VP of CMC to own Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls across our entire in-licensed portfolio.
• This role is critical because CMC delays are one of the fastest ways for a promising asset to stall before its next milestone.
• You'll work closely with the Chief Development Officer, clinical and regulatory colleagues, and external CDMOs and consultants.

About You:

• 10+ years in CMC or pharmaceutical development, with at least 3-4 years owning CMC for one or more programs.
• Personally managed 3+ CDMOs through clinical development, including tech transfer and scale-up.
• Owned CMC content of regulatory submissions, authoring Module 3 for multiple INDs and contributing to at least one NDA/BLA.

What You'll Focus On:

• CMC ownership and program delivery across every active asset, including drug substance, drug product, and supply.
• Supplier and CDMO management, selecting and contracting partners to meet timelines and budgets.
• Diligence and asset selection, scoping and de-risking CMC of inherited candidates and flagging manufacturing complexity.
