- Build and lead the security function, hiring for security operations and application security.
- Stay hands-on by executing critical security work like threat modeling and incident command.
What Success Looks Like:
- First 30 days: Build a clear picture of posture and establish working relationships.
- First 60 days: Publish a prioritized roadmap and define the team build-out.
- First 90 days: Demonstrate progress on top gaps and validate incident response capability.
Must-have Experience & Skills:
- Over 10 years in security, including leading a function at a crypto or fintech company.
- Deep technical expertise across cloud, infrastructure, and application security.
- Proven incident response and certification experience (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
