Job Description

This role is part of the Learning R&D Team, which drives program innovation and research at ALX Africa; we design new programs, codify learning principles, and ensure consistent quality across our program portfolio at scale; as a Workforce & Learning Researcher, you will be the eyes and ears of the organization when it comes to workforce demand and learning innovation; you will research industry trends, skills gaps, and learner needs across geographies, and transform these insights into recommendations for new program verticals and curriculum improvements; this role requires a mix of analytical rigor, curiosity, and creativity; you’ll work closely with learning designers, industry partners, and other external stakeholders to ensure our programs remain relevant, future-oriented, and aligned with real workforce demand. Market & Workforce Research Track industry trends, emerging roles, and skills demand across geographies; conduct qualitative and quantitative research (surveys, interviews, desk research); monitor and synthesize labor market reports, employer data, and competitor benchmarks; maintain a living knowledge base of emerging jobs and capabilities
