Backend Engineer (PHP/Python)

The Betr team is looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team. The primary focus will be on contributing to the development and expansion of our current Laravel-based betting platform using PHP. The role also involves working with Python on various internal tools, with experienced PHP developers handling the core functions of Betr's gambling application. We're looking for candidates with an interest in DevOps and improving deployment pipelines and infrastructure.

You will:

Build amazing consumer experiences, taking responsibility for code quality, scalability, reliability and performance. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You should have strong communication skills, the ability to articulate complex and technical concepts across teams, & understand the value of over communication.
