Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the clinical point-of-contact for vendors, ensuring alignment with study protocols and activation timelines during trial start-up.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SSU, Regulatory, Legal, and Site Ops to develop vendor strategies and documentation workflows.
  • Identify and troubleshoot vendor-related risks impacting clinical execution, escalating concerns through governance structures.

Operational Oversight:

  • Guide vendors through training based on protocol requirements and clarify procedural expectations for internal teams.
  • Document and track contracting timelines, vendor performance metrics, and escalation history in internal systems.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with service level agreements and recommend process improvements for efficiency.

Strategic Contributions:

  • Support relationship-building with sponsors, CROs, and site networks by ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging.
  • Participate in SEV preparation and site activation readiness, applying creative problem-solving to meet deliverables.
  • Develop tools and training materials to strengthen vendor onboarding and leverage historical data for pipeline planning.
