Senior Production Planner

The Senior Production Planner is responsible for managing all production planning activities needed to meet early to late phase clinical and process development manufacturing requirements. The main objective is to coordinate and improve the production planning function through the implementation of planning best practices and active participation in the development of an ERP system.

Essential functions include planning the production of finished goods, creating and maintaining a master production plan in an ERP system, taking follow up actions in relation to production shortages, developing high-quality supply plans, analyzing data related to service level and inventory, managing KPI performance metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams, acting as a subject matter expert for ERP GxP operational modules, and authoring and maintaining D365 operational SOPs. The Senior Production Planner will also perform ad-hoc and cross-functional projects assigned to support business needs and provide developmental opportunities.
