Job Description

The Institutional Giving Manager is a key member of the development team, responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation funders to expand philanthropy support. This role leads institutional giving strategy, including prospecting, proposal development, funder engagement, and reporting. The Institutional Giving Manager will work cross-functionally with the Development, Marketing, and Mission Delivery teams to ensure alignment between funder goals and Girl Scouts’ impact. Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 institutional donors and prospects, with an emphasis on corporations and foundations. Develop and implement an institutional fundraising strategy to retain current support, upgrade gifts, and secure new funding. Write compelling proposals, letters of intent, reports, and case statements tailored to institutional funders. Build relationships with community leaders and organizations to build philanthropy for Girl Scouting in the greater Kansas City area and other key markets. Collaborate with the Marketing and Mission Delivery teams to fulfill donor recognition, program deliverables, and impact reporting.
