New Product Marketer

We're seeking an experienced Product Marketer to help grow Common, the community-owned infrastructure for economic democracy. As our Product Marketing Manager, you'll help scale a platform that enables grassroots organizers, cooperatives, unions, and municipalities to coordinate resources and decisions democratically. You'll drive adoption strategies that transform how communities build economic power together. This role requires translating the complexity of economic democracy into joyful, accessible experiences while maintaining authenticity with movement organizers and credibility with institutional partners. You'll be responsible for positioning Common as the platform that makes economic coordination easy and effective - turning the old extractive systems obsolete through better product. Core responsibilities include shaping product positioning, leading go-to-market initiatives, designing activation strategies, and executing user research initiatives. You'll also craft marketing campaigns like Wikipedia, Discord, and GoFundMe that made infrastructure feel personal first, create case studies that demonstrate network multiplier effects, and develop strategic email marketing programs.
