Senior Analytics Engineer

Position Summary:

• This role builds the data foundation that powers analytics, AI initiatives, and partner products at Mainstay.
• You will own the semantic layer in dbt, lead analytics product development, and make data trusted and AI-ready.

Responsibilities:

• Own and expand the semantic layer in dbt and build analytics products for internal and partner use.
• Partner with Senior Data Engineer on data architecture and support embedded analytics work.
• Create documentation, videos, and guides to help employees use data confidently.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in analytics engineering with strong SQL and production dbt experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud warehouse and modern BI tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
