Job Description
Work on Interactive Medical Simulation Toolkit (iMSTK) which is an open-source toolkit for medical simulation & other modeling & visualization libraries such as Pulse & VTK. Implement new features, improve performance of existing modules, help w/ execution of funded projects & provide customer support. Perform software development tasks in support of project goals w/ minimal guidance. Participate in research activities. Understand platforms & tech within technical team & contribute to platforms by adding tests; fixing bugs; responding to questions. Work to understand the tech & capabilities (at elevator pitch level) of all technical teams. Lead small-to-medium-sized projects w/ guidance from team principals or leadership. Respond to questions or issues from other teams. Contribute to grant proposal submissions to federal gov’t agencies.
