Job Description
An Agency Account Manager acts as a consultative partner to understand client needs and challenges, advise on their communication plans, and effectively communicate Business Wire’s value proposition. They develop thorough knowledge of the agency landscape, public/investor relations industry, products and services, as well as those of their competitors. They successfully execute client contracts from negotiation to close, in adherence to policies and procedures.
This role works collaboratively in a team environment and across internal teams to achieve individual and shared results, while connecting and increasing social media visibility with clients by sharing thought leadership, case studies, and socializing industry and Business Wire hosted events. You will build relationships, identify agency contacts, and interact via LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, X and other social networking platforms and maintain accurate records of all client activity within Salesforce.
