Lead Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing and implementing modular and reusable PLC code, along with assisting in on-site controls engineering tasks.
• Designing and developing Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) using commercially available products.
• Implementing PLC and HMI programs to meet design and customer specifications.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience within an industrial controls environment, including PLC and HMI programming.
• Proficiency in industrial communication networks and low voltage electrical design.

Additional Duties:

• Providing technical solutions to complex problems and guiding the completion of major programs.
• Mentoring entry-level Controls Engineers and providing support to commissioning team members.
• Leading a team to execute complex automated systems and complete system acceptance testing.
