Infrastructure Security Engineer

Descript is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to protect our platform, systems, and user data. As a Security Engineer, you will identify vulnerabilities, implement and improve security controls, and ensure security is embedded into our products. You will design and build security-focused infrastructure primitives and integrate them into our existing products and development processes. Responsibilities include performing technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews. You will also partner with engineering teams to design and deploy secure solutions, conduct assessments to identify attack vectors, and help run penetration testing and compliance efforts. Advocate for security best practices throughout the organization.
