Senior Backend Engineer, Data Platform

We are looking for a polyglot Senior Backend Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You’ll help build and scale the foundational services, APIs, and pipelines that power the Postscript product. This role blends strong backend engineering skills with a deep appreciation for data intensive systems, performance, and reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with other software engineers, data engineers, and product to help e-commerce marketers maximize their revenue with best-in-class targeting and context driven AI. Primary Duties: Design, develop, maintain, and scale the Data Platform team’s services and APIs Build batch and streaming data pipelines Act as tech lead for individual projects: write design docs, scope tasks, and delegate to other engineers Maintain and enhance Postscript’s third-party integrations Contribute to team planning and process improvement
