Senior Data Security Specialist

CSCI Consulting is looking for a Senior Data Security Specialist to take a lead role in safeguarding our information systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing procedures that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of system assets. This includes protecting systems from intentional and unintentional access or destruction and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The Senior Data Security Specialist will interface with the user community to assess their security needs, implement practical and effective security measures, and educate users on required procedures. The role requires a thorough understanding of enterprise security architecture, including user authentication, domain structures, digital signatures, and firewalls. This role frequently reports to the Data Security Administration Manger and requires the ability to clearly communicate complex security issues and risk assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
