Performs basic nursing skills and serves under the direction and supervision of the practice physician and/or registered nursing staff, greets and escorts patients, prepares exam rooms, assists with exams, schedules appointments, educates patients, maintains quality control logs, ensures medical equipment is in proper working condition, and assists with office administrative tasks.
