• Lead and optimize commercial, small business, and equipment finance collections and recovery operations.
• Responsible for day-to-day performance, workforce management, and the development of strategies.

• Perform internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and financial processes.

The Assistant Collections Manager is responsible for coaching, training, and developing collectors. They will be expected to motivate collectors to achieve monthly goals. The role includes auditing collection activities to ensure maximum results.

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive BSA/AML policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist in overseeing various components of the BSA/AML program including customer due diligence, sanctions screening, AML and sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting, where applicable.
• Participate in risk assessments to identify and evaluate BSA/AML risks across products, services, customers, and geographic locations.

• Perform auditing of claims, ensuring processing, payment, and financial accuracy.
• Complete reporting of audits finalized with decision methodology for procedural and monetary errors.
• Communicate corrections and adjustments to Examiners as identified on pre-payment audits.

Resolve indirect disputes through the e-OSCAR system. Resolve direct credit reporting disputes received from the customer. Determine root cause of disputes by collaborating with business unit owners.
