As a technical designer, you’ll be building a variety of campaigns for clients in the pharmaceutical industry ranging from simple one-page adverts and marketing emails through to multi-page informational resources and education modules. Strengths will lie in creating HTML pages from visual designs, ensuring excellent replication and attention to detail. Should have a good working knowledge of javascript/ jQuery and be comfortable working with APIs and interactive content.

This internship takes a micro-to-macro view of web content, starting with individual stories and projects produced to meet a news moment, then zooming out to identify larger patterns and best practices for preserving that content for the long term. The intern will work on information graphics, data visualizations and special story presentations, working in close collaboration with reporters and editors. Work includes archiving 20+ years of NPR's digital content.
