The primary responsibility of a Business Wire Newsroom Editor is to accurately and efficiently prepare and transmit news releases over Business Wire’s circuits. A Newsroom Editor will also work as a team member performing any and all functions necessary for the successful operation of Newsroom Operations as determined by departmental management. Standard duties include formatting, editing, and proofreading press releases, coding releases for distribution, and contacting clients regarding potential errors.
