Brave is on a mission to protect the human right to privacy online and has built a free web browser that blocks creepy ads and trackers by default.
As a member of the Brave privacy team you will work on filterlist-based ad & tracker blocking. Maintenance, debugging and fast fixes via adblock rules are a big component of this job. You will spend most of your time making sure websites work on Brave browser, shipping blocking rules that make users’ lives easier and safer.
Brave is offering summer internships for Ph.D. level students to work on technologies that make the web faster, safer, and more private. Brave's mission is to change web advertising. Interns will tackle hard problems, building software for millions of users, and addressing challenges connected to cutting-edge academic research. Interns will be paired with a mentor and will be working alongside a larger Brave team.
