Responsible for power electronics circuits and systems through all stages of the development process. Design elements and responsibilities will include isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, maximum power point tracking solar power converters, magnetics design and analysis, system-level power management and distribution design, point-of-load regulators, switching and linear regulators, filters, and stability analysis and measurement.
In this role, you will collaborate with CesiumAstro's technical and strategy teams to develop new algorithms and technologies for astrodynamics and related fields, critical to the companyβs long-term technical and business objectives. You will work alongside experts in space-based high-performance computing and GNC to design and implement complex algorithms for space situational awareness and precision orbital propagation. Effective communication with team members and stakeholders is essential.
In this position, you will work closely with our Director of Conceptual Design to develop complex, state-of-the-art payload systems for space and airborne applications. You will lead the development of space architecture concepts, sub-system design, payload design, requirements development, analysis and decomposition, high-level software and hardware system architecture design, concept of operations (CONOPS) development, and risk assessment. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders, as well as participate in authoring content.
