As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will architect and run globally distributed platform services that hundreds of engineers rely on every day, and continuously evolve our compute, edge, observability and deployment layers for maximum resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency at a global scale. You will also lead with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and SLO-driven operations to deliver reliability through software, not toil.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives at the intersection of large-scale infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate not only has experience building and running services at scale, but also understands the importance of security and policy enforcement in protecting modern software supply chains. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver, secure, and evolve Docker’s registry and SaaS offerings.

Docker is seeking an exceptional Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical vision and architecture of our Data organization within our infrastructure group. This role will address critical data strategy challenges, building and launching scalable software systems and processes to unlock data at Docker. You will drive technical leadership across data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and revenue-enabling data products while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders across the company.

Drive the technical evolution of data systems that power analytics across the entire company. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing robust data systems and processes that support Docker's analytic needs while establishing technical standards and best practices for the data organization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that drive business outcomes.

Drive pipeline growth by uncovering customer needs, sparking interest in Docker solutions, and creating qualified opportunities. You'll deliver an exceptional first impression and fuel team success by using prospecting strategies to reach out to existing Docker users that demonstrate a propensity to acquire commercial licenses. You will also respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Docker products.
