As a Community Engineer, you'll inspire developers to build cool things with video, build cool stuff yourself, and help developers use Mux and its platform, spending about 40% of time on content, 40% of time writing code, and 20% time on creative exploration. The role involves talking to customers, improving documentation, speaking at conferences, and driving feedback to the Engineering and Product teams.

As a Video Software Engineer at Mux, you will help build and scale powerful API-based functionalities for our core product, Mux Video. The video engineering teams evolve the video transcoding and processing pipeline to deliver powerful features. We're looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals to join a fast-paced, creative, and inclusive Engineering team.

As a Software Engineer at Mux, you will be instrumental in developing Mux’s next-gen Video products, enhancing user experiences for millions globally. You will spearhead and execute intricate projects throughout our Video stack and infrastructure, managing vast video volumes. You’ll also shape the technical roadmap of our platform and collaborate with the engineering team to refine our software development approach.
