This role serves as Pie's internal subject matter expert for both Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance and assists the Senior EDI Specialist with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) reporting requirements. It is critical to ensure compliance with federal Section 111 Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA) reporting mandates and state-specific EDI requirements across all jurisdictions. The specialist will mitigate regulatory risk and maintain operational efficiency.

The Senior Product Manager will drive business impact through the product lifecycle, identifying opportunities and delivering measurable outcomes. You'll work with Customer Service leadership and cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives and drive execution, focusing on building efficient customer service platforms and aligning the product roadmap with business goals.

You’ll be a part of building out our accounting function, helping to implement new financial systems, developing processes and procedures, and owning the financial statements. You’ll be primarily responsible for handling Pie’s accounting operations with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. You’ll interface with fellow Pie-oneers, vendors, partners and related parties while being accountable for accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks.

This role involves ownership of post-hire team member lifecycle delivery and experience, providing the structure, data, and analysis necessary for Pie’s leaders and our People Talent teams to execute against Pie’s people-driven strategies.

As a Backend Engineer, you will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code primarily in Typescript (with some C# preferred). You will also help shape the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and robust systems and applications. You will participate in on-call rotations, consistently seeking opportunities to improve operational stability and system visibility. You'll continuously learn and stay up-to-date on software engineering best practices.
