Develop the next-generation Cloud-Native Database(TiDB) storage layer (e.g. TiKV) that is extremely scalable (e.g. PB level), optimized for the cloud environment and easy for backup and restore. Design and develop reliable, scalable and efficient data backup and restore pipeline, including fast PiTR (Point in-time Recovery) ability upon massive dataset, as well as next-generation second-level backup solution based on native S3.
