As a Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of technical leadership and strategic delivery. You will lead high-impact engagements with state governments and public sector partners, guiding both the architecture and the adoption strategy for digital identity solutions. This is a hands-on and customer-facing role involving writing and reviewing code, architecting systems, and setting engineering best practices, while also shaping roadmaps, influencing standards, and representing SpruceID in strategic conversations.

As a Forward Deployed Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers delivering solutions for state governments and other public sector partners; you will be responsible for both people management and delivery execution, ensuring projects meet customer needs while supporting the growth and success of your team; this role combines engineering leadership, customer engagement, and operational management.

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be at the intersection of engineering and customer delivery, working directly with state governments and other public sector partners to design, build, and deploy solutions that solve real-world identity challenges. This role combines hands-on software development with consulting and customer success, representing SpruceID on the ground with our partners to ensure our technology is deployed effectively and with lasting impact.

As a Forward Deployed Mobile Engineer, you will focus on building and deploying mobile applications that put SpruceID’s technology directly into the hands of people engaging with their governments. You will work closely with state governments, public sector partners, and SpruceID teams to design and deliver secure, private, and accessible mobile experiences.
