About the Role:
- Own complex, cross-cutting design problems and shape platform experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the lead designer.
- Report to the Head of Product.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design for discovery, research, delivery, and iteration.
- Define how AI shows up in product, balancing user needs and business goals.
- Design data-dense workflows for underwriters.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years designing B2B, data-rich, or productivity tools.
- Experience in scaling startups and AI-driven tools.
- Strong portfolio showing simplification, UI polish, and interaction patterns.
Bonus Points:
- MUI or similar design systems experience.
- InsurTech, FinTech, or regulated industry background.
- Technical interest or background.
