Job Description
Dewberry is searching for a Part-Time Senior Environmental Program Analyst to join our NE Environmental Services Business Unit. This remote role demands 20+ years of expertise in interpreting and applying State and federal environmental laws, especially those related to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). The ideal candidate will be a nationally recognized expert in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, USDOT environmental policies, and cross-agency coordination.
Responsibilities include providing oversight and technical assistance to teams preparing Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and environmental assessments. The role also involves coordinating with transportation agencies, USFWS, FHWA, and other federal agencies to streamline environmental reviews. Legal expertise and direction are required in the development, writing, and review of environmental documents and processes.
